Anyone of you here have your car windows tinted?
I have a problem with the tinted windows now. Ok so I received a letter from JPJ Labuan last Thursday morning and here are the contents ;
Don't you think it sounds so ridiculous?! This is so unfair! I don't even know where and when they've spotted my car and according to the letter, it was issued on 5 Sept 2011 but my car was spotted on 26 Aug 2011, right before Eid.
I don't get it, there are so many cars in Labuan have a black dark tints if compare to mine. My friend punya cermin lagi la tinted gelap than mine. But why the hell they give me such letter and even ask me to bring the car to JPJ office for checking??!! Dammit!

So now tell me peeps.. ndak juga gelap bah kan?? Mungkin mata tu JPJ officer yang juling sampai ndak pandai bezakan warna. Idiot! Besides, i believe you can clearly see through it. It's only 35% tint. It's somehow dark but it still allows onlookers to see through it in day light but can't see much at night. That's it! I thought 35% is allowed and should have no problem. Its not only me, there are lots of car out there using the same tints and ada yang lebih gelap lagi dari ini. Sighed! Yang herannya, hari tu time roadblock, lepas pulak. Padahal masa tu malam. Pelik! 
Anyhow, I still have to bring her to JPJ on this 19th. Some people said ,if the JPJ officer isn't satisfied with the tints, they will ask the owner to remove the tint film ON THE SPOT! So my friend suggest me to tear off the tint film before going to JPJ. Like seriously sir, do you think its cheap?????!! Geeezzzz!
If anyone of you ever been through this kinda situation, I would love to know the result after being checked. At least, I know I'm not alone - especially those in Labuan or KK. I'm still not so sure if I really need to remove them before taking my car for checking?? Isshhhh this thing really give me a major headache!
As my friend said, "Alah biasalah kan baru lepas raya, diorang sengaja bah tu mau duit kupi saja". Duh! Jangan harap!

P/s: The officer who sign that letter used to be my JPJ tester when I was doing JPJ test for my driving license back in 2008. I don't think so he still recognize me anymore. >.<

Hi Sab, time ko pigi kasi tint your car aritu, ko ada dapat surat kelulusan JPJ dari tu kedai ka? Kalau ada, lagi bagus.. At least ada proof dari tu kedai. As for my car, aritu sa pigi tint, durang ada kasi ikut tu sijil. Taukey dia siap cakap lagi, kalau kena saman, ambil saja. Nanti kedai durang bayar.. Biasanya senang ja kasi beza yang lulus JPJ sama yang inda lulus punya. Yang JPJ allow besanya lagi mahal (dalam RM300 above), kalau yg besa2 ja RM80 pun ada.
Tapi sa tingu yours inda la telampau gelap ba.. Buta kali tu yang kasi issue kamu surat. Cis..
HI Annie, tia tau pula kalau drg ada provide surat cos c hubby yg p buat hari tu. Actually, tu tint double layer. 1st layer kena bg free oleh eon (actually kmi sdh bgtau tu salesgirl yg kmi ndak mau tinted free tu), tp pandai2 pula dia p pasang. So since hubby pun mls mo bising2 sna, dia kasi 2nd layer la.. cost around rm150.
Nnt sa suruh hubby p check d kedai yg dia pasang tu tints. Best juga klu org yg bayarkan saman tu..hehe.
Eeeee, mmg ndak patut pun. Padahal byk kereta d Labuan ni especially yg mahal2 eg. fairlady, alphard, vellfire kebykan tinted diorang gelap2. Ndak adil ohhh..;(
Padahal ndak juga gelap bah kan.. confirm lah tu officer juling!

hi sab..my fren ever got this...tpksa buka tinted dia then go to JPJ kasi proove yg sda buka...if not naik court o0o...but mine oso tinted gelap la...jgn la kna gini..huu~ palis2....=p

Suri: Ooo yakah?? Susa la klu terpaksa buka tinted tu..nnt pasang lg balik. Melayang lg usin matusin..haha. Hubby ckp nnt dia runding sama jpj tu cos bkn kami jak yg tinted gelap.
Eeee..kin sakit hati ni cos early morning lg received surat cinta dari jpj hari tu. Iyaaa, harap2 la urs nda kena kan.. ok nnt i share =)
